Travel: Anniversary Trip to Bali

Finally there's time for me to blog my trip to bali from 11.12.2011 - 14.12.2011

Its a perfect place for families outing and honeymoon. Well, let the pictures speak for me.

Day 1

Ready to set off early in the morning

to a active sea wave and relaxing Bali

We had our breakfast in plane and there's only beef to be served which i hate it alot, so finally my first meal after landed in denpanssar airport, we had our chinese food. The appearance seems attractive but i not the taste, so all i had is a small bowl of tomyam soup with rice and fruits.

After our meal, we are sent to our hotel, bali intercontinental which just located at jimbaran beach.

It's a very privacy resort which only guests who stay-in are only permitted. Others not allowed to enter for using restroom, not allowed to have meal in the hotel etc. there's also security guards at the main entrance and at the seaside area. I will advice and recommend people around me to bali intercontinental at jimbaran beach if they would like to spend their day over there. Why? I'll show you around the resort.

I have to say without no fail, everywhere they serve refreshment and fruits, i think is very friendly.

they organize them very well and the conditioner have to mix with water and shake well in order for smooth and soft result

After a long day outside, we get washed up and changed to our robe. BF looks great on it.

Not wasting time, we rest for few hours and continue our own leisure nearby our hotel

that's the jimbaran beach just a distance from our resort which i mention earlier. Isn't it awesome?

the corn looks nice but it taste spicy, perhaps we not used to it so we threw it away from 3 bites

All the seafood are grilled, i never like grill food actually cuz only one taste. The BBQ seafood not nice, very expensive. NOT recommended unless u have a bali package which comes with sunset dinner, the food is much nicer than this. Later on, i'll update the sunset dinner which our tour guide had brought us.

Day 2

This is where we had our breakfast buffet, its complimentary anyway.
Assorted of fruit drinks, cereals, luncheon meat, cheeses, fruits, yougurts, breads and many many many more.

We are heading off early in the morning again

I've forgotten where is this place but it sells burning oil, kites and differ kind of hand-made instruments

okay, we than head to lakeside view which located at the top of the mountain.

Opposite it's live volcano which activate anytime

It's very very cooling up here, temperature it's like in air-conditioned room as well as windy

Over here, all our food are buffet. We have our buffet lunch

We had our full day tour, after our lunch we are brought to temple. We have to wear sarong no matter what like this below, and girls who come menses pls do respect, are not allowed to pray

After our several tours, we need some massage relaxation.
At this tallest hotel in bali (lower than a HDB apartment in sg) they recommended us the best massage

So, we expect more luxury more comfortable more unexpected things.....

Firstly, we need to scrub and wash our foot

And the room goes like these... -.-!!! i was like.. ok, the appearance it doesnt matter
And there goes the massage. Simple massage, not relaxing, not comfortable. I have to naked and left only my paper panty on. After a back massage, i need to lie front face and massage from head to toe.
After the massage we get wash up den had a hot bath in the tub with some flowers.

And after massage, stomach groaning.. an hour plus to reach jimbaran bay for our sunset dinner
Due to our 2hours uncomfortable massage, we missed the sunset.
I'm damn sad, cant get to get the picture of sunset with BF.

This is one of my favourite vegetable soup which i drank for about 5 bowls which include BF's one.
I kept ask from the waiter for the soup, damn paisei. I ksiao say serve my BF another bowl too, once their head turn around, i snatch from BF since he does not like it.

Because first day in hotel we had nothing, so we went to minimart to buy some tibits and drinks.

Day 3

I had my cereals with chocolate milk, NICE !

With assorted of fresh fruits to share with BF

I know i'm so outdated, this is my first time pluck our own jackfruits in such a huge ones

When i'm back to sg, I'm so excited to share with my colleagues, but i get the response from them is " m'sia also have!! " -.-argh. We need to fill our stomach but not so full cuz we are going for water sport. Oh yesh

Arrive at Batara dive watersports

I'm kind of kiasu, love watersports but this is my first time doing it. I've tried flying fish, jet skii and diving.
I do love it all but cause i'm having cough and flu, i have difficulties in diving. All the while i'm at the surface of the sea, i can only from far see corals and little fishes. BF told me he feed the fishes and wanted to have his own free leisure under water but pulled back by instructor. He even thought i'm underwater and he waved to me, but indeed he waved to others. LOL we have a video and photos but all really cannot make it as the people over there, videos and photography worst than BF's skill. haha :)

Stomach groaning again... Today we had thai-style food. Caught this little lizard having lunch with us.

Happily after lunch, we off to monkey forest. Kind of tired after some watersport, we rest in our private van.

Nothing to do, BF tied my hair and i go everywhere with it

We are kind enough to purchase quite an amount of peanuts to feed these monkeys. What surprise me, these little fellows jump onto BF shoulder and head. When we shooo them off, this little monkey jump onto me and i scream like hell... horrible feeling i had.

As i mentioned earlier, big live waves in bali. We Love It

I'm actually getting ready to shot when waves come. But i was standing too near the edge, waves splashing me

So, literally i run back to BF

Day 4

kite flying, but it spoilt within an hour. wtf!! we planned to have our own leisure for awhile before heading to airport but ended up we get wet at the beach

A really really nice and beautiful place. Beautiful sky, Soothing waves - relaxing

We take full day tour in a package so our meals are all complimentary. Basically our expenses are on watersports more, we did not really buy any souvenirs cause there's really isn't anything to buy. Overall, i love Bali ♡
