Dawn Lee: Travel: His Birthday Treat to Bangkok

These have been in june 2011 because due to my busy period in new york skin solution, i do not have much time to blog about it.

Bangkok is part of Thailand where people said "bangkok is a shopping heaven". But not only that, it's a food paradise and good place for massage.

Love the feeling when i'm above the cloudy sky

It's still early to check-in so we waited at our hotel lobby, baiyoke sky hotel

Baiyoke sky 4-stars hotel rising in 88-storeys which is Thailand's tallest hotel located in pratunam's fashion district in the central area. We are staying in standard zone (22th-45th floors) and there's sky zone (46th-68th floors) space zone (74th floor) which is the presidential suites, they are all panoramic city views. You can view their rooms here. I get cheated when i googled search for baiyoke sky hotel room which i thought how grand how nice will it be, but when i open the door...

Due to the lightings, but at least the bed is really comfortable and the food in the hotel really good. Will talk about that at the later part.

Look how amazed it is, the further side is still sunny and the nearer side from us is getting dark.

Our first day trip do not know where to have nice food so we spend our day in hotel, so we headed 79th floor to stella palace for our buffet steamboat. The food really heavenly awesome and reasonable.

After our heavy dinner, we went up to 84th floor, the revolving view point for some digestion. 360degree revolving for the beautiful city view in bangkok.

Impossible spend our whole night in hotel right? Still at 8pm plus, still early, we went to night market

and these are all handmade kids baby shoes selling along the street. I bought this for baby Ian but i dunno where i put it.

and i asked bf to pose one with a mask. Roar!!

and saw this mini van bar, so cute right?

Why didnt local have such mini bar? Okay, perhaps a mini van cafe? That will be interesting :)

and of cause, when you're at other country, you will tend to try things that you never had experience in your own country, instead strolling back to out hotel, we seat tuk tuk back at 20baht if i'm not wrong.

On the second day, we had our half-day tour

These are temple fishes that they swim around temple area only. You can buy bread to feed them for 100baht from the coach.

It's a great opportunities to get ourself in other nationality costume, so we had 100baht for a few photoshoot.

than back to our hotel we had our buffet lunch

flood enough of food and we find some activities for our remaining time from our hotel lobby. Next, we go to bangkok zoo.

very good boy of monkey, whenever he that zookeeper plays the music, this monkey will dance

just awhile when we gave him sweet, he stop dancing and bite the wrapper and eat

baby monkey with his playpen, and yes, that's real tiger at the back!

we are actually very near those elephants, we afraid their nose will disturb us, you can actually look at his scary look.

they eat faster than i pluck those bananas

yesh, and ever in my life i've got a elephant ride.

they said that walk around thrice under elephant will get good luck, so we take turn walk around

i dunno why bf so afraid of them, haha. He dare not stand too close with them yet...

i'm really very near to them:)

I have took photo with monkey and tiger, will post in the next entry and our last night, we walk along the street for dinner instead than in hotel. And we found awesome delicious food stall. I'm not good in expressing how nice they are, and i'll let the pictures speak for these. They are really YUMMY, you will never regret to at least get a bite. We packed them and enjoy in our room.

This fish doesn't look yummy but never expect, i snatch every piece from bf trying not giving him eat so much.

i thought that it will be very dry but indeed it look and taste fresh and tender

I did not really get to shop much all i do is EAT MASSAGE EAT MASSAGE, and we had our full body massage for 200baht nearby our hotel every night before we went back to our room to end our day.
