NOVEMBER sKINCARE

Recently my skin condition has become more sensitive than before, so i've decided to change the whole series of my skincare. All i need is hydration now, and of cause not forgetting whitening. For your info, i'm a combination skin type.

 Step 1 - Cleansing 

Laneige White Plus Renew Bubble Cleanser

The bubble foam cleanser is really gentle enough for me to remove all the dirt and makeup residues from my pores. By doing so, your face will definitely look clean and fresh, of cause you will look brighten up too.

 Step 2 - Exfoliating 

Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel

This is a mild exfoliating gel gently removes dead skin cells and impurities with short massage on my face. It contains various berries like raspberries, blueberries, wolfberries, cranberries and strawberies which delivers numerous nutritious and antioxidant to eliminate harmful free radicals. It smells so heavenly nice too. *Use once or twice a week.

 Step 3 - Toner 

Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Softener

After that, i"ll use this brightening softener to immediately hydrates skin for an optimally moisturized and luminous complexion. 

 Step 4 - Special Care 

Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Pack

For best result, i use this after Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel. It deeply nourish my skin and hydrates back, leaving my skin healthier and firmer. It also does promote collagen because of its specialized yoghurt. I applied on my whole face (avoid eye area) for 5-10mins and bring to wash. The smell that I can't resist from those berries again. *Use once or twice a week.

 Step 5 - Eye Care 

Laneige Water Bank Eye Gel Cream

What I feel that all our eyes need is just basically hydration. Without hydration, wrinkles appear, dark circles form and we will be having dull tired eyes. I usually look for gel type because it's more light-weight feeling, whereas cream type is too rich for me. I'm afraid there will be crow feets under my eye area.  

 Step 6 - Moisturizer 

Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream

A soft and light moisturizing gel cream that supply moisture and fills up my skin with hydro water deep inside. Best part is non oily and sticky after penetrates into my skin. I love their light scents too.

 Step 7 - Mask 

Every twice or thrice a week, I'll do my sleeping mask or facial sheet masks. I bought my facial sheet mask everywhere from Sasa, Etude House, Tony Moly etc. For my current sleeping mask is from Peter Thomas Roth.

I always have trouble sleeping at night after I moved in with my hub. I'm a light sleeper and he snores a lot (louder than thunder) plus he turns around in bed like as if I'm not sleeping beside him. That's really irritates me! 

Few months ago, i walked pass this newly open shop bath and body works located at marina bay sands, just as usual random window shopping browsing through the shop, and I notice this sleep sommeil aromatherapy. The mixture of lavender and chamomile scent attracts me more than believing this do actually helps to sleep well. Without any thought, I bought this(but because of the scent). 

I've done an experiment on my own to check whether this work. I applied the body lotion on my both hands and legs after shower at night. To my surprise, I sleep soundly throughout the night. I thought maybe that night I was too tired and did another test, it works! Sometimes, I am too tired that I forgotten to apply lotions and those nights I had terrible sleeps(thanks to hub), but I can't take it anymore!! So, I start applying the lotion again every night, and thank god!! I can really sleep well like it mention on the bottle plus the smell really amazing heaven. 

Yawn zzzZZZZ...  I've got to sleep now, goodnight!

Waterproof

Just i had finished my eyeliner for like decade years ago cause i've been doing eyelash extension due to my laziness, now i'm back with falsies and eyeliner. My lashes need to take a break. I've been using dollywink liquid eyeliner for awhile, so it's time for me to change something different this time round. I've been desperately to sephora recently and reading tons of reviews of their products too. 

Benefit They're Real Remover S$29 from sephora

I bought this gentle yet effective waterproof remover it's because i bought a waterproof liquid eyeliner. As everyone of us knew that our eye area is the most sensitive and thin area among our face, so i try not to use something harsh on my eye area. Also, i do not want something that irritates my eyes too. The sale assistant recommended me this best seller waterproof remover that is gentle yet effective and non-irritate my eyes at all. When i tested it myself, i was so surprise and it makes a wonder. As well, it says "THEY'RE REAL REMOVER"!! 

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Dark Brown S$28 from sephora

I've got it in dark brown because I notice that I uses black color, I look more fierce than I am. I'm actually a very friendly personality but because black liner makes me looks like I do have a proud face. Lol. It looks more natural though and not harsh on me. I got it in liquid form because I lazy sharpen either pencil kind. 

I like felt tip as it is much easier to draw. I used to have dollywink brand, but I never regret changing to stila liquid eyeliner which also I see reviews from sephora again. Stila eyeliner ink is much fuller than the dollywink ones and the price is only few dollars difference, and it dries quickly without smudging your eyes when u blink after u draw, also it's waterproof. Why not? :)) I think when u want to spend on something, spend on things that more worth it.

**Anyway, I had just tried these 2days with my full eye makeup on which include eye makeup base, 2-tone eye shadow, liquid eyeliner and falsies. It did a wonderful job on removing all my makeup except the leftover glue from my falsies. It ables to remove but, it takes some time to be clean it up. Overall, I'm still a happy customer for this benefit waterproof makeup remover! :)

Buffet Town

Frankly speaking, hubby and I had no idea when is our last time we had buffet. We decided to have buffet at buffet town located at raffles place. I went to google for price and address fyi. 

We paid $43 per pax include gst and service charge. Kinda expensive but once in a lifetime, worth the price. It's unlimited intake of any kinds of food and drinks with no surcharge. You are able to take a walk/break outside and head back for second round. From fresh seafood and sashimi to variety of food served.

Fresh cold prawn, crayfish, mussels. Prawnnnnnnnns

Fresh live oyster from the US. The chef open the shell on the spot and it's unlimited! 

Fresh sashimi prawn, Kani sushi, beancurd skin sushi, prawn sushi and fresh sashimi salmon. It's the first time I had sashimi prawn in my entire life and I love it. 

Chilli crab and seafood pizza. I don't like the chilli crab, the sauce taste sour. But I'm lucky to get pincer:))

Roasted potatoes, grilled banana, beancurd sushi and braise butter corn. My favourite here is the drilled banana.

Fresh cold Scallop. Like tasteless lei.

So, this's my second round... 

I just can't get over this fresh oyster, I thought I couldn't eat this super raw seafood, this shows that it's really fresh and nice. Of cause, match with the chilli sauce they provided. There's different kinds of chilli to your taste.

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel-Mask

As my previous sleeping pack from Laneige was running out, beforehand, I browse through the sephora website and found this highly rave sleeping mask from Peter Thomas Roth. 

Alittle background on my decision. I've never touches products from sephora that's because I always purchase from orchard tangs plaza's counter to seek advice from the respective brand ambassdor's recommendation based on my skin conditions. Eventually, I've tried almost all the products and getting tired using the same products over again and again. Thus, I've decided to check reviews online about sephora. It's alittle pity that USA get to have others products which singapore can't even get like for example 3-in-1 value pack from Peter Thomas Roth.

Like this pack include cucumber gel mask, rose stem cell and pumpkin enzyme mask. This great value pack that I wish I could try to see different kinds of results on my face but too bad, singapore does not have the benefits to try the pumpkin mask whereas we could buy separately for cucmber and rose mask only. I desperately wanted to try the pumpkin ones because the reviews online is hyper! Everyone loves the pumpkin mask most.

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel-Mask S$83 from sephora.

I choose this rose stem cell because it helps to regenerate, rejuvenates, hydrates, brightens, firms and tone my skin. It's my MOST concerns and I believe it's everyone's concerns. 6-in-1 combination, why not? :) It's make up of 5 rose plant stem cells and 4 rose extracts. FYI, Rose is a natural plant ingredients that is very gentle yet acts as an anti-inflammatory and soothed irritated skin, it's also a rich natural source of antioxidant which can help strengthen skin cells and regenerate skin tissue that all skin types are suitable, as well as sensitive skin. My reviews

I'm not a rose scent person but this has a nice light rose scent which attracts me to smell them even more. This heavy gel texture alike jelly, penetrates into my skin in minutes that does not feel greasy nor heavy at all. I've seen the result visibly on 2nd days and I'm satisfied till now (4th days). It would be better if the price could slightly lower down. Overall, I never regret buying this love and it's promises what it says. Dying to try all PTR's skincare products!

Pardon my bad photography, trying my best to capture my skin condition. It's showing that my complexion look more hydrating, fairer, brighter, pores smaller (combination of Philosophy skincare; updating in next post), clean and fresh. Before, was taken in May/June?

Every morning after washing the mask left overnight on my face, it feels so hydrating and even fairer every other day.
